A few hundred years in the future, people live in a space station far from Earth, controlled by a multinational corporation that is the object of cult-like adoration. On the surface, everyone seems satisfied with this "perfect society". In this world, human beings seek to surpass their own limits and stand eye-to-eye with the gods. By establishing a program to create life from nothing on Shangri-La, one of Titan's most hospitable regions, the corporation hopes to write its own version of the book of Genesis. De même que pour la belle mort, c'est un bel ouvrage vraiment mais ce n'est pas ce que je préfère. J'ai lu frontière qui est bcp plus cartoon coloré avec une histoire plus édulcorée, et j'ai adoré. Shangri la est profond, sombre, nous fait nous interroger sur notre société actuelle et celle en devenir...
